Hello friends!
Welcome to my blog.

I've always been passionate about motivating, inspiring and entertaining with words.
While most kids got grounded for pulling their sister's hair or using permanent marker on the walls, I got grounded for reading too much. I read in the bathroom, the car, my bedroom, living room, kitchen, under the piano bench, and on the trampoline. I couldn't get enough! So instead of doing my chores or cleaning my room I chose the world of literature.

When blogging first became popular I spent hours pouring over the lives of other people. They seemed so interesting, so unique and exciting- so unlike me. There wasn't anything spectacular about me. I was just me.

Then something happened. I was talking to that one person in my life that I could have real conversations with in high school and she told me that I'm not just Cami. I'm Cami, without the just. I am indelibly myself. I laugh too loud. I giggle about things that I shouldn't. I cry during commercials and movie trailers that aren't even sad and I try too hard to impress people and make others happy.

But, that's pretty extraordinary. I'm pretty extraordinary.

So, I started my first blog. You can check it out here, but it's outdated and immature so I won't be offended if you skip over it. When I got married I decided to start a new blog, one that would be filled with the stark truths of newlywed life and the adventures each day brings. I definitely have room for improvement, but I hope that while you here you will get a sense of who I am and who I want to be. I hope some of my posts will make you reflect on where you are in your own life and maybe where you want to go. I hope other posts will make you laugh and you'll want to share them with others.

I may not have anything exceptional to put under the "Where You've Been" and "What You've Done" sections of my life, but I think that's okay. I'm just me and you're just you, except we aren't JUST. We are. And that's something worth sharing.

So welcome. Welcome to this blog about life, and love, and letdowns. Welcome to my deLISHes life. I hope you'll stay a while.
